Weird Skyence In The Basement

The musical duo who calls themselves Weird Skyence (pronounced Weird Science) is comprised of two natives from Toledo Ohio the musical mastermind and producer Jozay SpaceKawboy and the vocalist Chrispi the InFallible. Blending their talents and synthesizing their sounds into a funk, reggae, and hip-hop mashup that truly is one of a kind and unique in its nature. The duo first came together through a mutual friend in 2016 after a combined decade of experience in the music and art industry. After meeting and vibing on some tracks together they began their journey together as Weird Skyence. The tandem takes influences from the likes of Bob Marley, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, and Pharrell just to name a few. In 2018 the group released its first studio album “Planet HERB” and is currently working on the follow-up album “Planet DREAD”. Their performance during this weeks basement show brought a fun, energetic, and positive energy to the WIDR studio as they shared their story and some tracks of their debut project.
