Community Member DJ Policy

Historically, WIDR's airwaves have been supported by community (non-student) DJs filling in during timeslots. The only way to become a Community DJ is to be a previous WIDR alumni.

WIDR only trains active WMU Students.

Follow the step by step guide below to get started at WIDR!

Rules are rules. make sure you get familer with ours, so you can start ruling with us!

​​1. Read the WIDR FM Station Handbook 

2. Complete the Station Handbook test.

* Must receive 100% (Unlimited retakes)

* Save a Screenshot of your test to simplify onboarding!

3. E-mail the director of the departments you are interested in participating in!

* Include Screenshot of completed test within the email

* Directors will reach out about team specific training :) ​​
